•Little Rock, Arkansas: Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Big Dam Bridge, Little Rock/North Little Rock. "Memory Walk from Rock to Rock". Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. on the North Little Rock side. Pet friendly, family friendly with a craft table for kids. We are on the move to end Alzheimer’s, Walking to raise awareness and funds for programs and services to support Arkansas families living with Alzheimer’s. Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk® is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research programs. Held annually in more than 600 hundred communities across the country, this inspiring event calls volunteers of all ages to be champions who move forward the cause to care and cure Alzheimer's disease.
• A typical Memory Walk is 2-to-3 mile walk held on a weekend morning in the fall.
• Memory Walk is a pledge-based event with no registration fee and a $100 t-shirt minimum.
• Memory Walk is an experience, not just an event. Memory Walk is our way to engage people in the fight for their own history.
